Our Reason
Oklahoma has one of the highest incarceration rates in the country, with jail populations frequently over capacity. Recent criminal justice trends have spurred reforms to move these individuals from jails to diversion programs. Through these programs, individuals receive life-stabilizing resources and assistance navigating a complex court system, enabling them to return to work, their families, and to become part of the community. We aim to fill gaps in the criminal legal system by helping individuals emerge successfully on the other side of their involvement with the judicial process, and to ultimately reduce the pressure on the Oklahoma jail and the prison populations.
We work alongside on-site community partners to meet the needs of the client, while keeping community safety and a culture of compassion as our top priority. Our goal is to provide clients with the needed resources and outlets to help them successfully navigate the justice system.
Connecting justice involved individuals to life stabilizing resources and services to help them become safe, self-sufficient and stable members of the community thereby reducing their contacts with the justice system.
The Education and Employment Ministry, also known as TEEM, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking cycles of incarceration and poverty through education, personal development and work readiness training.

CFSI is a developing initiative which creates educational pathways for individuals with social barriers so they can reach their career goals and meet the workforce needs of the community. This is achieved through not only a like-minded and supportive community, but also through higher education, training, and personal and professional development.
CFSI's mission: CFSI is a workforce development program that provides post-seconodary education and training for Oklahomans who have recently exited the situation of incarceration, homelessness, foster care, or domestic violence, or are in long-term recovery from substance abuse addiction or mental health disorders. CFSI provides a pathway to employment and a long-term intensive program where students will have the opportunity to gain invaluable skills, work experience through internships, and the ability to earn college credit hours along with supplemental credentials. In 2022-2023 alone, the students participated in more than 3,800 hours of direct learning experiences and contributed nearly 3,400 hours within internship opportunities. Upon completion of the program, participants are positioned to assimilate into the general student body to continue working toward their chosen academic degree programs. Participation in the CFSI program will not only improve lives, but also helps Oklahoma achieve a more skilled and educated workforce.
