J.E.M. Foundation was founded by Doug Shaffer who spent 21 years in prison and 13 years on parole in the Reentry process.
At J.E.M. Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality community support services. We believe that even a single voice can be impactful when backed by lived experience, genuineness, and transparency. Every voice matters, even if it sings a solo.
We focus on educating the public on non-political reentry issues, helping those in reentry find the resources they need to succeed, and advocating for smart, non-partisan, non politicized smart criminal justice reform.
